The Third of four Design talks promoted by Domus Academy is just around the corner: ‘Nurture‘ on 15th January 2018 followed by ‘Waste’ on 12th March 2018.
Currently, some designers are pushing the boundaries, turning their designs into concrete acts of nurturing. Today technology is rapidly re-establishing the boundaries between self and the other, in ways that redefine the nature of humans in relation to non-humans. Some say that this is a threat to humanity, whilst others believe it is a possibility for change that gives us hope. Time will tell, but this is one of the greatest challenges of our time. This is the thought-provoking topic our guests will be discussing at the upcoming Prototyping Ideas: Nurture event.
